Are you writing your first (or third) article? In this workshop we will go through some issues to consider when choosing where to publish your research.

About the event

You will gain a better understanding of the publishing market and how you can plan your publishing to find the right audience and to enhance the publication’s future accessibility, visibility and impact.

  • Visibility in databases
  • Publishing open access
  • Using social media to promote your work

The Social Sciences Libraries offer a workshop for doctoral students who have started to think about where to publish and about their future career.

The workshop will make use of active learning techniques and we will invite you to have a look at some material in Canvas before the workshop. Choose if you want to participate on campus or in Zoom (two different dates).

The workshop has a focus on disciplines at the Faculties of Education, IT, Social Science and the School of Business, Economics and Law.
