Description:
Body:

In this workshop we will identify some strategies and tools you can use to keep track of, as well as choose, relevant research.

  • Setting up alerts
  • Academic social media
  • AI tools for skimming, summarizing and conversing with texts
  • Literature mapping tools, e.g. Research Rabbit or SciSpace

The Social Sciences Libraries offer a workshop for doctoral students who are starting up their studies or have come a bit on the way. The workshop addresses the issue of how you keep up to date with new literature and research that is not in subject databases.

The workshop will make use of active learning techniques and we will invite you to have a look at some material in Canvas before the workshop. Choose if you want to participate on campus or in Zoom (two different dates).

The workshop has a focus on disciplines at the Faculties of Education, IT, Social Science and the School of Business, Economics and Law.
